Input Options to Suit Your Needs
The FuelForce line of fuel controllers can be equipped to handle a myriad of automated input options. Every controller has a keypad, the 894 and Exacta with numeric keypad and the 814 with an alphanumeric keypad. The controllers can also be equipped with either magnetic stripe or proximity card or key fob readers.
Magnetic Card Reader
Available on all our controller lines, the magetic strip reader can accept magnetic stripe cards that can be used to identify drivers or vehicles or both. The reader can also be configured to work with a PCI (Payment Card Industry) cellular modem so that the fuel controller can accept fleet cards like Voyager or WEX and credit cards such as VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, etc.
Proximity Card Reader
Also available on all our controller lines, the proximity card reader can accept proximity cards and key fobs from several manufacturers. Manufactured by an industry reader, the cards and fobs can be used to identify drivers or vehicles or both. Potential clients can send us a card for testing to ensure compatibility with the reader.
RFID Automatic Identification
Partnering with HID Global, the FF 894 and FF 814 Controllers can be equipped with IdentiFuel™ line of RFID-enabled components designed to automate the identification process in the FuelForce fuel management strategy. Deploying the IdentiFuel™ approach allows vehicles to be automatically identified without requiring the driver to enter the vehicle ID at the controller. For clients with fueling time is a critical delay to operations, automating the identification and authorization process can save valuable time for their drivers.
